Wow, the mother and her victim blaming!
Listening to the mother of this absolute monster blame everyone else but her son for his actions, minimise the impact on his victims and bemoan how difficult it has been for her with absolutely NO consideration for the victims, has been really difficult. Only on episode 4 at the moment it hope he is kept in prison for a very long time.

I was hooked by this story, which was sensitively told. I wish they’d had a barrister to explain the appeals process and what it meant in the final episode rather than a reporter who wasn’t entirely familiar with it or the case, interesting though his account was. Really enjoyed this podcast, had me gripped from the first episode. The episode where the mother is interviewed however is a hard listen. Not wanting to accept the reality of the damage to others that her son caused over a decade was distressing.
