Outstanding journalism
I found this deep dive into the case of ‘the cyber stalker’ very interesting, and moving. I thought it was very well presented and some of the comments made about the presenters voice in other reviews surprising - and, to be honest, verging in trolling. She did a great job and I found her easy to listen to. I appreciate that the podcast endeavours to represent all ‘sides’ to the situation but found some of the content outlining Matthew’s defence hard to listen to as sympathy & understanding in no way justifies the misery he put so many people through. I think his mothers explanation of his behaviour as him ‘being silly’, a phrase later echoed by Matthew, is pretty chilling. This podcast is well worth your time.

Really sensitively done. The mother has a dreadful point of view and she doesn’t want to understand how threatening her son has been. Victim blaming at it’s worse and that side of things was difficult to listen to.
