What a mess
What was the point of this podcast? It felt like it was created purely to excuse the actions of the stalker. The interview with the mother was appalling: it was everyone else’s fault that her son committed crimes, she and the father couldn’t possibly have funded support for him, and of course it’s the victims’ faults for being online: because didn’t you know that everyone behaves this way online?? Says the woman who apparently doesn’t use social media at all. I’m sure the stalker has issues, and I not sure that his autism was relevant in any meaningful way-but ultimately thousands of ppl fave the same challenges and don’t torment other ppl. So the attempts to explain away his actions felt like a colossal waste of time to me.

What sets this apart is the lack of filler. The reporting is thorough but never extraneous. Very interesting and well worth listening to.

Well made series, insightful, spooky and a real page turner (in a podcast sense). Could have listened to more of the investigation and more in depth epa on the court case. The journalist and producer do a great job of being sensitive to the topics covered while still keeping things interesting...Read full review »

Insightful well balanced reporting. Sympathetically covering an awful life changing experience for a group of women. Couple with some thought provoking ideas about how to prevent more victims.
