Manitoba Holds PNP Draw #219 On May 23, 2024, Manitoba issued 253 invitations in the latest round (#219) of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP): - Skilled Worker in Manitoba: 121 invites (min. 782 score) under Close Relative Selection - Skilled Workers Overseas: 39 invites (min. 688 score) under Strategic Recruitment - International Education Stream: 93 invites So far in 2024, Manitoba has invited 4,241 candidates through the PNP, including 573 Express Entry candidates. Bill C-71 on Citizenship by Descent The federal government introduced Bill C-71 to extend citizenship to children born abroad to Canadian parents beyond the first generation.
