Advertisements callously timed
The podcast itself is good, but whoever edited in the advertisements should be fired. They come in such a jarring way interspersed within a highly sensitive story, it is disturbing. For example - an upbeat, cheery (poorly recorded) plug for Facebook immediately following a vivid account of sexual assault in episode 2. Horrible timing. Lost a lot of admiration from me in that particular moment. You could at least learn from The Daily and say something like “we’ll be right back.” Other than this major flaw, I enjoyed the pacing and the theme music is excellent.
