Description
Cannes Blockbusters are not the only unjuried film festival slate in the world. So having exhausted this avenue, we turn to New York Film Festival, famously uncompetitive, to inject a little competition and conflict into their whole affair. The slate? Films that played in the opening slot of NYFF in the new millennium so far. Returning to join us as President of our Jury? The great DAVID SIMS of BLANK CHECK with Griffin and David. Together we figure out what it is About Schmidt, how to split the David Fincher of it all, and how we can only give one award to Carnage. All this and some general chat about the shape of TIFF and NYFF this year. The movies under consideration are HERE Follow David on twitter @davidlsims Our twitter is @CannesIKickIt Our instagram is @CIKIPod Our letterboxd is CIKIPod Enjoying the show?
