A Podcast for Casuals
Thomas Drance is the perfect example of someone who thinks they are the smartest/well informed person in the room until someone with relevant playing experience enters. Stats and trends are great and all but buddy hasn’t played the game and you can tell in his analysis. Quantifying the game doesn’t nearly capture the nuance/difficulty/variability of the sport but it is the only tool he has. Not to mention the screeching, and boy does he screech. Jaimie Dodd is just as annoying. “Statistical trend” seems to be a favourite word of his when applying caution in reasoning/analysis. How informative/interesting buddy. Further, he tends to ruin any show he guest hosts on with his “but but but” analysis. Basically just a cheerleader for Thomas Drance. One of the worst shows in the Canucks media sphere.
