Description
We got the chance to chat to East Kilbride FC first team coach Blair Munn. As a youth player, Blair had the privilege of playing for Rangers and Falkirk as well as representing Scotland. Like many, Blair was released but has still managed to pave out a successful career in football.
It's evident from this episode that Blair has taken a lot from his playing days, taking so many skills he picked up as a player into his new role as a coach. Brad goes a bit Si Ferry (Blair's colleague at East Kilbride) as we get to chat about what it was like to be a part of the coaching team that took Darvel FC to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup, knocking out Aberdeen FC in the last 16. Outside of his coaching, Blair has a clear passion for supporting young players, having recently worked for the PFA where he helped players to source further education and employment. On top of this, Blair's was involved in supporting the women's game in Scotland, which is rapidly growing. We hope you enjoy! Blair Timestamps
