Listen now
Description
On this episode we chat to Nina Wilson, who will be joining us as a Wellbeing Coach at The Young Player Wellbeing Academy very soon, as we make our first steps into working in the women's game. As well as working on the YPWA, Nina is a professional footballer, having recently moved up to Scotland to play for Hibs in the SWPL. This season we have spent a lot of time understanding the demands of male academy football by chatting to guests. This was a great opportunity for us to learn more about the demands placed on young female footballers, from grass root to academy to professional. We hope that our listeners come away from this episode feeling as if they have learned something about the women's game. We certainly have! This was a great chance for us to get to know Nina, and we really appreciate her coming on to the podcast. Great to hear that Nina is also using her platform as a female coach to inspire the next generation of players. Looking forward to working closely with you over the coming weeks / months.
