#22 Blair Roden: From Military Engineer to Endurance Run Coach
Listen now
Description
"Don’t overthink it, just get out there and run!" This week I'm joined by Blair Roden, AKA Broad Run, whose career journey has been anything but ordinary. Blair started as an electrical engineer in the UK Navy’s submarine service, where he spent years underwater (literally) before transitioning to a totally different path—becoming a full-time endurance run coach. Blair talks us through a day in the life in the Navy, his transition from military life to civilian work, and how he moved to a brand new country, tried real estate, and ultimately started his new company focused on run endurance coaching. If you’re considering a career change, especially from the military, Blair’s story offers valuable lessons in resilience and passion. New episodes are out every Wednesday, so until then - Stay Weird and Stay Ambitious, my friends✌🏾 Follow Blair on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/broad_run_/ Listen to the BroadRun podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/5tvOIzmAczT3QpcqMbZkN8?si=bc09b1125a574e87 Submit questions & stories for the pod! - https://forms.gle/Yuri4hvnP8zpiND7A
