“Loving this show Little Donovan!
The current iteration of ACS is extremely stale and only has one or two laughs per show. Gina is a terrible fit and drags the entire podcast down to her level.
Ace is out of things to say and has gotten way to preachy and political.
With all of that said, Adam is one of the funniest men on the planet when he gets off of his tired rants and stories we’ve heard over 100 times.
This show cuts out (most of) the crap and brings us the moments of brilliance that made us all listeners to begin with.
Hearing Alison and T in the 3rd seat again is such a treat as they were both funny and intellectual. My hope is that new listeners will gain an appreciation for just how poor of a job Gain-a Grad does in that role.
LD does a great job of selecting clips and providing context for what we’re about to listen to. On the whole, he’s picking moments that really were genuinely funny and great pod.
However, I heard the Seth McFarland missing the plane on 911 story for the 50th time today. Please avoid forcing us to hear things that have been driven into the ground by the show already. Stick to the one-off jags and conversations that Ace doesn’t regurgitate once a week.
Anyway, keep up the good work guys and don’t consider what Adam himself thinks are his best moments and takes. He’s the least self-aware person on the planet and has no feel for what people truly enjoy on the show.
As such, if you play Gavin Newsome getting “destroyed” or any rants about his parents I’ll unsubscribe, change my rating to 1-Star and take a dump in your front yard.
No race-car talk and audio of engines revving, either.
Keep it up, Donovan! Show is really good, thus-far.”
