“I love this show so much! I got into the pod because I wanted to rewatch supernatural but felt cynical about it after the season finale. Carrying wayward helped me feel excited about this story again because Mary and drew offer so much new energy and insight. Episodes are split into two halves- one ‘sacred’ analysis of the text where the show is engaged with at face values and you can enjoy the characters and plots at face value- and the other half focuses on critical analysis. This way you get all the fun of talking about supernatural as a fan while at the same time having serious conversations about the flaws in its creation. Always look fwd to fridays because of this show :)”
