Awful
I listened to the first episode and half of the second because I was driving and did want to pull over to stop it. This podcast is a perfect example of why not everyone can do a podcast. The host and the author telling the story from her book (a blatant attempt to sell her book) do not have podcast voices. There was little inflection - I felt like I was listening to an accountant give an annual report. Obviously the author is from a big city - a town with 27000 people is not a “very” small town. And she describes the husband as rebellious because he like to shoot guns at the same time saying the town he grew up in was rural and had agriculture. It showed a complete lack of understanding and knowledge of what a real small town is like. Really the worst podcast I’ve ever listened too.

I’m two episodes in and getting pretty bored. I’ll revisit this review of it picks up, but the pacing of this story is dragging. Do I need to know all of this backstory?

I like the podcast. Very disappointed in the last episode lasting 20 minutes!!! Now you are saying there is one more episode!? I'm fairly certain that you could have combined the last 2. I dont like being strung along just for the sake of being strung along.Read full review »
