“I listened to the first episode and half of the second because I was driving and did want to pull over to stop it. This podcast is a perfect example of why not everyone can do a podcast. The host and the author telling the story from her book (a blatant attempt to sell her book) do not have podcast voices. There was little inflection - I felt like I was listening to an accountant give an annual report. Obviously the author is from a big city - a town with 27000 people is not a “very” small town. And she describes the husband as rebellious because he like to shoot guns at the same time saying the town he grew up in was rural and had agriculture. It showed a complete lack of understanding and knowledge of what a real small town is like. Really the worst podcast I’ve ever listened too.”
