Today, we read CCC, 1987 - 2029 and discuss grace. "The grace of Christ is the gratuitous gift that God makes to us of his own life, infused by the Holy Spirit into our soul to heal it of sin and to sanctify it" (CCC, 1999). Grace is one of those theological terms that we often use but have a hard time imagining... Is it like gold glitter falling down from Heaven into our souls...? Is it a radiant light that is placed within us by God and then emanates out into the world...? Is it a superpower charge that metaphorically bulks us up to choose good and avoid evil...?
