“Come for the US-centric soccer commentary, stay for the inside jokes, running gags, and the humanity. I listen to every episode every week, as I have since 2015, and by now I’ve spent more time listening to Andrew and JJ than I’ve spent with live human beings other than my coworkers and family.
We went through *that night* together, we shared the ultimate Caught Offside Cup, and we held together through the pandemic. We want to hear about JJ’s sad walks and 7v7 games, and Andrew’s parenting challenges, as much as we want to hear reflections on the Premier League. And we definitely want to hear ‘EPL, Back for More’ again.”
