“This podcast is like snuggling up in a fluffy blanket with yummy treats nearby a frosted window with rain drizzling outside. You turned on a comfort movie like “you’ve got mail,” or “seventeen again,” or something else lighthearted and warm, or maybe you grabbed a favorite book, or even better, you’re having a nice chat with an old friend. Just all the chill, cozy, lovely vibes.
Cavern’s voice is so warm and kind and sounds like what you imagine the Prince in a fairytale should probably sound like. It’s really lovely. I love his idea of reading off five random words for each episode, and then sharing his thoughts. #1 because words are one of my favorite things—full of meaning and symbolism and magic. And #2 because it is nice to just listen to an interesting, comforting person share their mind with you. It is intimate in a way.
I love listening to these episodes while trying to fall asleep, or doing housework, or just whenever I’m in the mood to unwind and let the tensions of the day ease.
