“For most of my life I have looked forward to my daily half hour of Canadian and international news offered by the excellent journalists at CBC. I would finish The World at Six feeling as though I had learned what I needed to know, with a good dose of good humour to boot. So now they’ve changed The World At Six to a more « podcast friendly » version with a new name. Why is it ten minutes shorter? Is it because you think we can’t handle the full half hour? What did you leave out? What depth did you not go into? The first episode also lacked the warmth and good humour of its predecessor. Frankly, I feel very disappointed and a little ripped off.”
