Ignorance : The Demi Moore Episode
Topics are very entertaining but once I got to the Demi Moore Episode I was seriously disturbed. I never listen to the first twenty or so minutes because it’s not about the episode and they’re not interesting enough so i cannot make an opinion on that part. But starting into the story of Demi, they made a comment about how growing up Demi had a lazy eye and kidney/bladder issues that kept her in the hospital and one of the girls made a comment about how the lazy eye was “worse”. I let it pass and kept watching, whatever right? Then they got onto the topic of anorexia and when off on a tangent about it like it matter to the story. Laughing about how a girl came out about her MENTAL ILLNESS: a eating disorder and they treated it as a joke. Then one of them, a white privileged woman, had the audacity to say “women can speak on anorexia like black people can say the N word” what????????? we are talking about Demi Moore so I’m concerned why this needed to be discussed. Granted I am a firm believer in the awareness of mental illness but not when it’s considered a joke. Grow up. Have a heart.

Hilarious and, honestly, great critical analysis of the memoirs. I love Claire and Ashley.
