One critical mistake
This is a well-reported podcast. I’d recommend it to anyone. HOWEVER, the ads are ridiculously tone-deaf. Whomever’s responsible for selecting sponsors messed up. Repeatedly playing ads for wine, while revealing the tragic stories of women being drugged with wine, is not okay. You’re better than this, L. A.Times.

Justice takes many forms, listening and hearing the stories of individuals that have been assaulted is important for all of us. Thank you for your perserverence in getting this story into the light and out of the shadows.
