“New to the show and have been binge listening. I’ve been a fan of wrestling and Lilian since the attitude era! A lot of the stories I resonate with! It’s so great that the woman empowerment feel this show brings. Until I listened to the Nita Strauss show. It kinda threw me off when you ladies were taking about the me too movement. It sounded like you both were dismissive of the women coming out because it wasn’t “your story” or what happened to you. Lilian made a comment about her one experience “do you think I’m stupid” in respond to a man inviting her to his room to listen to her music. Great for you that you knew not to. But there are a lot of young, vulnerable girls who may not know how to handle a situation like that! These men are manipulative and in power so they may be more incline to do as they say. It shouldn’t be a woman’s or girl’s job to control a mans intention. Please be sensitive to the victims out there who have experienced assault and harassment by men who took advantage of them not because of what they were wearing, not what we did, led them on... just cause it wasn’t your experience doesn’t mean you can support these women and stand up for them.”
