“I have never written a review before on anything and after this episode I felt like this needed to be said. I have listened to Jess and this podcast back when it was Chatty Broads, from the very first episode and it was my go-to podcast. Jess, you have made fun of Christianity almost every episode. I’ve brushed it off in the past because you’ve brought up how you’ve experienced church hurt and comedy has probably been one of your ways of dealing with it all. I probably should have stopped listening a long time ago but you really went too far saying Maria is Jesus Christ and then making fun of the resurrection. Just because you guys used to be Christians doesn’t mean it’s okay to belittle or make fun of it. I guantee you’d never talk about any other religion the way you do about Christianity. In fact you’d probably be horrified if you heard someone talk the same way you do about Christianity about Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, etc. The Church isn’t Jesus. It’s made up of people who aren’t perfect and they mess up but that isn’t who Jesus is. Christianity is the most persecuted religion, don’t you think there’s a reason for that? I’m sad that I can never listen to this podcast again but I feel like you have a voice for everyone except for Christians.”
