Gomez, the father of the house, laments at the falling out he had with his brother a good twenty-five years ago. But as if the Gods themselves heard his prayers Uncle Fester returns home - only he's Gordon now and has a devious plan to steal the Addams' wealth with his loan-shark Mother. As time passes Gordon gets to know the family - Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsly, Thing and Lurch and soon begins to feel that this may in fact be where he belongs.
