Sharing invaluable insight
One of my most favorite things about this podcast is that so many of the episodes focus on insight from the parent’s perspective! I particularly value those that focus on parents of children with disabilities, both congenital and acquired. I use them regularly as assigned listening for a graduate level child life course that I teach. There is no better way to teach about supporting children with disabilities and their families and hearing from the families what their experience is! Katie does such an excellent job of allowing space, and providing really thoughtful prompts for parents to dig into their stories.
