“I have been a fan of Alison and Greg since first hearing them on the Adam C. show. I was excited to learn they were starting this podcast, and I’ve listened to every show (even though I don’t have any children of my own). I even gave them a 5-star review in the early months. Lately, however, it seems like they just don’t care anymore. Most frustrating is when they think they know or remember hearing something, and then one of them starts to look it up on Google, and the audience has to wait. Why don’t they pause the recording, or else edit this search time out afterwards? Greg repeatedly states “facts” that are not true, or that he’s gotten mixed up, and has this perverse pride in doubling down on his error. I’m getting pretty tired of talking back to my podcast app: “No, wrong, it wasn’t him it was ________,” etc. It seems like there is no preparation or post-production anymore; maybe they should stop if they’re so bored with the project.”
