“Cindy Yu is a personable, warm, intelligent and likeable host of this podcast, and I enjoy her work across the Spectator stable. However, she is a member of the Chinese diaspora with close links to China including family members still there. For this reason, I find the decision by the Spectator to allow Cindy free reign to curate all their ‘China’ content deeply problematic and naive.”
