“Okay, I’m clapping. Literally saying “oh wow there is a reason God told me… give a podcast a chance.” I’m not a podcast fan, I typically don’t understand how someone can talk so long with no response or how someone can listen for so long without asking questions, but a strong feeling came thru me tonight. A feeling saying, have Faith, take a breath, and support your sister in Christ. So I did. And I’m so thankful I did. Everyday I live my life, hoping to bring some happiness to others and some days are tough, and some days I don’t know how to keep that passion and desire of mine so strong but I try. Today was tough, people pressed my limits, and one person even said to me “why are you trying to get me to smile.” I answered “that’s my calling” they laughed and walked away. It was hard but I felt like I still succeeded with the laughter causing a small smile! But when I got in my car, I realized the smile means so much, but truthfully I care about their heart, and how can I help that. Now Brittany didn’t give me the answer of how, but she reminded me… others out there are just trying to help “care about your heart” and as I do that, as we do that, God is right there wrapping you up and smiling saying, good job, keep loving your neighbor. Keep caring about them, keep sharing me with them. I’m excited to listen to Brittany’s stories, her podcast, and what all she may bring to the table. Let’s share a little Care of the heart together 🫶🏼”
