Harrison Butker: What He Gets Right. What He Gets Wrong. Both Matter. Here’s Why.

Description
I usually don’t jump into cultural commentary, but this one’s worth talking about. First of all because it’s probably the most talked about, specifically Catholic graduation speech in my lifetime. The things he gets right are spot on. The things he gets wrong are way off. Both provide a teaching moment that we need to pay attention to.   Note: While my critique of some of his points is important, the cultural context (and arguably more important issue) is this: Harrison Butker had the courage to speak his mind on important issues. THIS is lacking today. We need to learn from THAT. And we need to stand against all efforts to cancel/dox/shove people out of existence who do that. Or we’re next.   After listening, you might think I get things right and wrong! Fair enough! Leave comments. Let’s talk! I’ll jump in and read them.   Disclaimer: There are 24 official rites in the Catholic Church not 33! ‍♂️   Fact check: Article regarding whether “saying who killed Jesus” can land you in jail.
