Dan is the man!
I came across CHA about 18 months ago and have listened almost every single day since. My 13 year old son listens with me on our drive in and we have some great conversations about the show and laughs at Dan’s jokes. Dan’s grasp of history, sense of humor and humility (funny how those go hand-in-hand) are what make this show so great. I have a masters degree in theological-historical studies and I still learn about people and movements I’d never heard of… I absolutely love Dan’s ecumenical appeal and sense of the global church and pray that more folks tune in to be awakened to its story. Thank you 1517 and Dr. Dan!

Thanks to Dr. Dan Van Voorhis for his amusing, interesting, curious, and even outrageous perspective on Christian history. His selections of readings, poems, and hyms from the Christian tradition is widely varied and always engaging. Everything is going to be OK!
