“Fun chats and taking a look behind the screen. I have to admit my ability to suspend disbelief is exceptionally high, so I often fail to see the mechanics and sometimes art involved in film making bc I’m caught up in the story. But those things are interesting to me as a former amateur theater dabbler and I love that Matt and Jason go into those details.
At the same time our hosts just give me an overall idea of what a movie is like and whether it might be worth my while. Tangents will occur, but hey who doesn’t love a good tangent, particularly ones involving philosophy and the occasional existential crisis of the movie industry?
I have to say the blast from the past movies randomly selected are very fun! Especially when they are a walk down memory lane. My favorite thing in the show is the (playful?) banter between the two hosts. Play nice, okay, guys? Speaking of banter, the great hypocrite confrontation of Episode 32 was very entertaining!
