Rabbinical discourse with a feminist flavor.
If you like your GoT commentary pithy and discursive instead of fangirlish and gossipy, this podcast is for you. They are connecting characters and events in the series (which is fictional) to current political events and trends (which are real), and calling out misogynist/ableist/racist tropes where they view them in the series. There actually is a fair amount of gossip too, which is fun. (More gossip please guys!) Ackerman and Hudson riff off each other and at times push each other to deepen the analysis. If you like yelling at your podcasts as much as you yell at the screen during the show, this is for you! Solid A.

I don’t mind negative outlooks in a show that isn’t holding up to its nature or character arcs. But bombarding us with personal politics to curve the nature towards your political view is not any better either.

This podcast is definitely only here to cash in on the last season. I like trying new GoT podcasts but I don’t think the hosts care about the show because 1/2 of it is freshman level political monologues. No one cares.

More sound effects. The wolves/dogs howling in the latest review of Season 8-episode 3 made me laugh. Added to the comments of the most exciting episode of the TV series. Huge Arya fan. My heart stopped and started several times when she was fighting, in the crypt and the successfu assasination.
