“I appreciate Joe’s efforts at providing an “unfiltered” view of City Management life, but does it have to come at the expense of respecting women? In his third episode about why cities should pay for spouses to travel to interviews alongside CM candidates, he casually jokes that his wife needs to accompany him because in order to stay happy in a new place he needs to “empty his b*lls”. Not what I want to hear from a thought leader in the field.
