“I’m a retired veteran of 26 years in the Army and Navy living in Texas. I’d consider myself a big patriot. As such, I love learning and understanding how the country I love works. I am always moved by how excited Nick and Hanna are about the topics they cover. The episodes recorded in DC actually made me weep with knowing as they became emotional talking about visiting the Lincoln memorial and other landmarks.
As a minority, I’ve lamented what feels like a usurping of “love of country” by a section of America that asserts I am unworthy to be considered an American; let alone an American patriot. Civics 101 renews my faith in and love of my country every time I find a new episode in my podcast feed. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You guys rock!”
