“Love the way you read this, but must point out that your bio notes were about the wrong A. Tolstoy. You said he was the Bolshevik who died in 1945. The Tolstoy who wrote Vourdalak was the A.K. Tolstoy who was born in 1817 and died in 1875. There’s an out of print book of his creepy stories called Vampires. (Sorry to be pedantic!)”

“I totally love the stories but some of them seem to be read at break neck speed. The Taipan being an example of this. It almost sounds like it has been played at the wrong speed and is very disorienting and doesn’t make for a relaxing listen which is what I’m after.
