Perfect
This is my podcast find of the year. Each standalone episode has a beautifully read story of eerie goings on, plus notes on the author. It’s perfect for a wild windy night, or, sometimes more chillingly, a bright summer’s day when we are reminded that the shadows are darkest in the sunshine. The narrator Tony has a warm engaging voice and brings each one to life, and the information on the author is always just enough to whet the appetite for more. These are ghost stories of every possible style, and feature some of the newer and more obscure writers, instead of hiding behind James and Lovecraft. What makes this podcast stand out though, is that you can tell Tony really enjoys what he’s doing. I’m so very pleased that he chose to share it.

Thank you Tony Walker. Finally a podcast without the filler. Creepy and atmospheric. Ghoulish glee and beasties galore. Read with the admiration only another writer can muster for our delectation. Thank you so much, from Sydney, Australia.

Holy cow, what a great find. The guy reads beautifully, and chooses amazing short stories. So far, each one was a gem. There’s also some info on the writers that he talks about. There are no ads.
