“For a long time, I’ve been a fan of Dr. Edward Feser, Dr. Michael Licona, Dr. William Lane Craig, etc. and have been looking for a good podcast on the same topic. I think this book is especially helpful for Catholics looking for accessible arguments for God’s existence, because modern Catholic apologists usually focus on Catholic-Protestant issues or defending the Church’s moral teaching and not natural theology, which I think is also very important.
DeRosa does a great job of being fair to both sides, being accessible while not dumbing things down, and gives a lot of meat-and-potatoes good information.
I do recommend listening to some of the podcasts when you are able to pause and take notes, especially the more abstract topics like metaphysics, since that can be difficult to follow if you’re driving in the car and semi-distracted.”
