“This is an excellent, FREE podcast. Hard to complain. Buuuut...
Sound mixing is pretty bad. This podcast blows out my eardrums quite often. Usually Zegura is a lot quieter than Wilhelm.
I think they are best when they interview people, take calls, and have a hot topic to talk about. I know they have a lot of hours to fill, but they can meander occasionally...and I may ff the episode or call it a day, but not often.
Wilhelm probably needs more experience. My biggest criticism is: he can go on a tangent sometimes. He seems like a nice guy for an ex-linebacker and he brings a unique perspective as a former player and Buckeye alum. He can get technical, too, which is a good compliment to Zegura being a true broadcaster and intelligent, objective pundit.
Speaking of that, I love how OBJECTIVE they are. This is not a doom and gloom show and emotion is pretty much omitted from the broadcast. They feel the losses, mistakes, etc, too, but they keep a level head, collectively.
They have great guests and I actually enjoy Gibbs and the Ser Gribble.”
