“I stumbled onto this pod and am so glad I did.
There aren’t too many audio dramas that grab me, and a lot I find pretty lame. I LOVE sci-fi but haven’t found too many sci-fi audio dramas (or dramas period) with convincing dialogue and characters and non predictable storylines.
It is gripping and remains intriguing throughout because the story is super well crafted. And is unfolded unusually well. It never sags and I’m guessing a lot of care and skill has gone into making sure the narrative was fully worked up and edited before recording.
The production creates good atmosphere and is clear but it is not flashy and concentrates more on dialogue than immersive audio effects- the story is the star of the show. The characters work, and some of the cast performances are real standouts.
