“First time listener, I was trying to listen to episode 97. The ads at the beginning of this go on for almost 10 minutes. I couldn’t even make it to the actual content because each next ad gave me more anxiety. My anxiety peaked when I realized I was at minute 7 and still no end of ads in sight. I get you have sponsorship contracts but you shouldn’t do more than a minute or two at the beginning and share the rest at the end. And they list the actual content start time in episode notes. If you’re losing listeners because of overwhelming ads at the beginning, then consider that this poorly planned podcast.”
