Best podcast out there!
Amanda is great are breaking down and explaining why the fast fashion industry can sell such low priced, low quality clothes and still make a profit. She covers so many angles about how consumerism, marketing ploys, influencers, over-consumption, legal requirements, false beliefs about charitable donations, social media : how it all works together to spin this web of illusion (well, delusion) that keeps people comfortably buying overpriced plastic fibre garments. She is professional, honest, concise and so damn hard working. She works so hard and the amount of research is unreal : plus she backs it all up with her real life lived experiences of working in this industry. Go Amanda! You rock and you make a difference by helping us (the little people) to make a difference too. Thank you for being you and doing the work that you do.

Recently found this podcast through a friend’s IG post and I am hooked. I am loving to/hating to learn all about the horrors of fast fashion. The interviews are fascinating! I keep sending links to my friends. I’m also appreciating the episodes about “slow gifting.”
