“I’ve been listening to Clotheshorse for years now, but I’ve been holding off on writing a review until I could best articulate why I love this podcast so much. I read somewhere that the reason they think that Meghan Markle’s podcast didn’t succeed was because she was so guarded, and the best podcasts have speakers that let their guard down. And Amanda does just that. If you haven’t listened to an episode and your eyes are doing that cartoon thing where they spring out of their sockets upon looking at the length of each episode or the amount of episodes, let me assure you that it goes by really fast. I feel like I’m listening to a friend. A friend that does really good research and takes pride in their work. A friend that lets their guard down. A get-a-grip friend who’s there for me when I’m tempted to impulsively buy more clothing. A friend that motivates me to want to do my part to make a change in the world.”
