I’m a 50 year old high school graduate. I was Union Carpenter for 13 years and now I drive a trash truck. It’s a decent fare wage for the work I do and it allows me to bump into radio/podcasts such as yours.
Though I have some hurtles to jump before locking down on my first home, you have given me basic tools and pointed me in the right direction.
I am doing carpentry/handyman repair for real estate owners as a side hustle from my trash route. That side hustle money is going to pay down so unnecessary debt and savings for first home purchase. Along the way I’m asking questions to the landlords and realtors about investing and they are all to happy to help and one has even said they listen to your show as well.
I have decided to keep a journal of this life style change and to share my success with others who are just like me.
