#251: Ash Dykes - Walking Across Mongolia & the Yangtze; City vs. Wilderness Life; Mental Resilience
Description
Today, I sat down with Ash Dykes, an adventurer and extreme athlete currently holding 3 official world records. He was the first person to walk the full 4,000-mile course of the Yangtze, Asia's longest river. Additionally, he completed a solo and unsupported trek across Mongolia, facing numerous life-threatening situations.
We discussed how he began his adventures, what led to his brand's explosive growth, and how he's navigating through agencies interested in working with him. We also delved into topics such as building mental resilience, the transition from wilderness to city life, and he shared some extreme situations he experienced, like being bitten by a monkey or having to carry a chicken through Africa to ward off dark magic. Enjoy ;)
