“Badly written and surprisingly dull for a series about cocaine. Bailed during ep 3 because it’s all so slow and treats the listeners like we’re stupid. And stop with the ridiculous descriptions of every person (“he was a man’s man”). I’ve tried a couple of Times podcast series and they weren’t any better. Embarrassing that a quality newspaper can’t do better”

“Fascinating topic made almost unlistenable by it’s slowness. A whole episode devoted to the tragic shooting of an innocent bystander blunts the appetite for more.
