“I like listening to this at night while winding down and doing my nighttime review because it’s calming, homey, and feels like you’re listening to friends talk about real stuff. That said, Nicole is usually just phoning it in and it seems like she really doesn’t care much about it. Jenny does and seems to put more thought into it, while Nicole can often be heard yawning or seeming annoyed that she’s even there and just giving her bored responses. If you don’t want to do it, then you shouldn’t be getting ad revenue for half-assing the content. Also: Please stop referring to the listeners in third person, as in “tell them this” or “Did we tell them about…” You sound distant from your listeners rather than including them. Other podcasters address the audience as “you” or “you guys” or even “listener.” This has always bugged me about this one.”
