“Love these guys! I’m 40 episodes in and this is easily my favorite podcast. Tyler and Mike are super chill, funny, and passionate about gaming.
In the earlier episodes, they take you through Steven L. Kent’s book, “The Ultimate History of Video Games” which is full of really interesting tidbits. Commentary from Tyler and Mike keep it fresh and fun.
After finishing the book, they break off into their own format, covering top 10 games lists and history for each console, later also covering individual game developers or game series.
I’m fascinated by the gaming info, but I’m often laughing out loud in my car as I listen on my way to work. In episode 12, Tyler talks about a recent expansion of World of Warcraft, and how it can be difficult to start a new character and really get into the game. “WoW is great once you’re 200 hours in, but for now.. we just need you to go get some spider butts.” xD I laughed harder than I’ve laughed in a long time at that line. I cackled in my car for about 3 minutes straight. Not sure why I found that so funny, haha.
Highly recommended podcast.
