Endless
I’m half way through episode 58 and I just cannot listen anymore. 1. The female detective stutters her way through every interview (in attempt at realism?). Once you notice it, it’s a very hard listen. 2. The script needed a huge edit. In ep 58 for example, one character spends about 10 minutes talking about how another character broke her trust. The detective says, “I’m getting the impression you didn’t think he was trustworthy?” (talk about on the nose!), then, “Can you give me any examples of when you feel he broke your trust?”…. And the other character replies “No”. Despite the fact that this is the subject of the previous 10 minute discussion! 3. Sienna and Drew flirting was like nails down a chalkboard to me. It was like they’d Googled ‘flirting’ and tried it out for the first time. It just became mind-numbing to me and I really couldn’t care less who murdered whom. They’re all dull characters. The adverts are relentless too. Before you start listening, you need to know that you won’t find out ‘whodunnit’ until Feb 2025.

Love this show. Something totally unique about the approach. Feels like I’m at the centre of the investigation and working alongside the detective. Went AD free as needed to get ahead of it. Great for the beach or hols when you can give yourself to it. It’s definitely for fans of True Detective...Read full review »
