Engaging and informative, but Shameless Sex
One of the best features of this delightful podcast is the approachable vibe of the hosts. That is why, eg, the octogenarian felt comfortable expressing himself in the last episode of season one. But then they plugged an episode from an allegedly kindred podcast, Shameless Sex, with the opposite vibe: off putting, self congratulatory, and oh so LA. Was this really one of your favorite episodes? Or did they pay you to promote? I hope you’re not going in this direction with your second season.

More reviews of Come As You Are
Brilliant, even-handed sex scholar interviewed by humorless man-hater who talks too much using academic cliches and rants about men in bed. If you want to feel your skin to crawl, stick around long enough to hear her talk about culture. I’ll look for the scholar elsewhere.
