Description
Today, we're launching the second season of our News Club interview series! This time, we're unpacking the biggest stories of the year – kicking off with the US election.
Our first guest is Ben Smith, former media reporter for The New York Times, political reporter for Politico, and ex-editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed News. Two years ago, he launched Semafor, a media company tackling the issue of polarization. Ben shares his insights on how the media is playing into this election, plus what it's like being in the US right now. He’s met Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, has stories from covering Barack Obama’s election, and even a cracking tale about the Clintons.
You can check out Semafor here
