“What can I say? I have been listening to Commandercast for the last six months and it is a weekly treat to be able to listen to the Commandercast crew.
I really appreciate the overall thoughtful and open atmosphere of the discussion. I find that a lot of the discussion gets back at one point to the tension between the desire to play with power and to play with grace. There is a lot of discussion about the social aspect of the game and what you can do to perhaps give your play group an occasional nudge in the right direction toward more varied and interesting play, as well as ways you can help curb more antisocial behavior yourself and others might have from time to time.
I enjoy the parts of the show that encourage thinking outside of the box and talk about the metagame. I enjoy the retro card reviews (even though I do sometimes click random card on gatherer until my hand cramps up, sometimes I miss some gems).
From A-Z, this is the best podcast for all things commander. Listen to it. Love it. Kill their lands.”
