“Stand by my years ago review but downgrading a star because this has become more amateur. They take off weeks all the time with no warning or professional reasons. And they always sound so high. It feels like they’ve made it with ads and sponsors so they don’t try very hard anymore.
I enjoy listening to the Kardashian bonus shows almost more than watching the episodes. Both girls are well spoken, smart, and funny. If you are a pop culture junkie, this is a great podcast. However, they both flex those undergrad psych degrees a little too much. Their ten minute, psychoanalysis tirades about the motives of celebrities (on a scripted, staged, and edited show no less) are really annoying. I skip through them but they take up about a third of many episodes. Also, while they are both super “woke”, they can take it a little far, while also giving some problematic celebs (JB) a pass and hating on others (TS). It makes their POV seem pandering rather than genuine.”
